About the Role
We are seeking a Licensed Insurance Sales Representative with experience in personal-lines insurance sales. This role focuses on generating new business, preparing quotes, closing sales, and supporting existing customers with policy changes and renewals.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and close new insurance business through leads, referrals, and prospecting.
- Sell auto, home, life, and personal-lines insurance based on customer needs.
- Prepare quotes and explain coverage options and policy details.
- Follow up with prospects and manage opportunities through closing.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities with existing customers.
- Assist with policy changes, renewals, and endorsements.
- Maintain accurate customer records and activity in agency systems.
- Meet sales and customer-service goals.
Requirements
- Active P&C Insurance License – Required
- 2+ years of insurance sales experience
- Experience in an insurance agency or producer environment.
- Experience with insurance quoting and agency management systems.
- Strong knowledge of personal-lines insurance, especially auto and home.
- Strong communication, sales, and customer-service skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred: Life & Health License, experience with multiple carrier platforms, and Spanish/English bilingual skills.
